Veterinary surgeons

Joe graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2013 and has worked in small animal practice ever since. After three years in Humberside as a new graduate he moved to Bury in 2017 and then started at Beech House Veterinary Surgery as Senior Veterinary Surgeon in October 2019. This role involves leading the veterinary team and ensuring the practice is working to the latest standards. Joe has a strong interest in surgery and is midway through his Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

In his time off work you will usually either find Joe supporting his football team, Wolverhampton Wanderers, or renovating the house he has bought in Radcliffe. Joe has two pets, a guinea pig called Crumpet, and Timothy, a naughty kitten brought in stray at his previous job.

Kayal graduated from Nottingham Vet School in 2020 and joined us at Beech House Veterinary Surgery in September 2020. Kayal enjoys all aspects of small animal practice but is particularly passionate about ophthalmology and hopes to pursue this in the future. Kayal has recently moved to Manchester from London and has loved living in a new city. Outside of work he enjoys playing golf and supporting his home football club, Fulham FC.

Iris has recently joined the Beech House family, she is currently working towards her internal medicine certificate. At home she has a 9 year old rescue cat Ioretina. Iris is a keen reader and enjoys walks in the countryside.

Georgiana graduated in March 2018 from the University of Bologna, Italy. During her studies she discovered her passion for Diagnostic imaging and completed a diagnostic imaging internship at her university. Georgiana joined our team in September 2020 after working for 2 years in a small animal practice, having as main interests diagnostic imaging and internal medicine. At the moment she is studying for her GPCert in veterinary diagnostic imaging and hopefully next year she will achieve a General Practitioner Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging. Outside of work Georgiana enjoys reading, cooking Italian and Rumanian dishes as well as indoor cycling.
